same appointment.

There is very little discomfort in most micropigmentation procedures. Many
clients describe it, "easier than expected". Each person has a different
threshold for discomfort. We always use specially formulated and safe topical
anesthetics to ensure your comfort.

How long does the color last?
The pigment is implanted into the dermal layer of the skin. It is considered
permanent because it will not wash off and will not wear off. The pigment will
fade over time. Typically, the color will fade between 3 & 7 years, depending
upon your skin tones and the colors used. The fading process allows you to keep
a more natural look through the years.

Who can benefit from these procedures?
Anyone who desires to enhance their appearance. It is a timesaving convenience
for a busy person. You can look your best all of the time without applying and
reapplying makeup throughout the day. Permanent cosmetics are perfect if you are
unable to wear makeup.
It often becomes difficult to apply makeup as vision changes. Certain medical
issues can make it impossible to apply makeup such as pain/arthritis, muscle
weakness, etc. Scars from accidents, burns, or surgical procedures can be
camouflaged and restored to a more natural appearance.

Is micropigmentation a tattoo?
Yes, micropigmentation is a form of tattooing. We use needles to implant color
into the skin. It is a cosmetic tattoo and we use only natural pigments to
achieve a very soft/natural appearance. We do not use any traditional tattoo
inks in our procedures.

What is involved in recovery?
There can be some puffiness/redness of the skin in the treatment area which
could last 24-48 hours. Everyone is different and results may vary. You can
resume normal activities immediately after a procedure. You can expect
tenderness in a treatment area for a few days. Colors will appear darker and
more intense on your skin immediately following the procedure, but will soften
and lighten during the healing process. The healing time is different for each
person and procedure.
